IN THE US
In November 2006, Villacero completed the acquisition of a major stake, in conjunction with Coutinho & Ferrostaal, in Adelphia Metals, the third largest independent distributor of rebar in the U.S.
With ArcelorMittal, creating a commercial joint venture focused on serving the national and United States markets.
A joint venture with two important German companies in order to merge their steel trading activities to create C&F.
The Villacero Service Center is inaugurated. It is the largest and most modern in Latin America.
Villacero extends its portfolio of products with spiral welded tube and pipe in large diameters, to service important infrastructure projects for the conduction of fluids in large volumes. The T-H Helicoidal Plant participates in several infrastructure projects like the 'Acueducto Independencia' (Independence Aqueduct), an important water transportation project in the state of Sonora.
